The bed was decent, giving us a good night's sleep. The TV worked well, providing us with some entertainment after a long day.
The room had visible water damage.

Good wi-fi and friendly staff, but the room was quite rundown.

Solo traveler just look elsewhere
The thing I appreciated was the fridge and microwave in the room, no need to bother the front desk for that. The hardwood floors looked good at first but good luck with spills.
It wasn’t cheap, but it was okay for what I got.

The hardwood floors in the room felt nice and clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The air conditioning worked well, making it a pleasant stay given the warm weather. I appreciated the location's convenience, with several dining options nearby. However, the room had issues. Only one electrical outlet worked, and the lamps were all out. The bathroom was in dire need of remodeling, with stained sheetrock and peeling paint. There were only one washcloth and one hand towel for two people. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired, with dust bunnies on the floor. The promise of breakfast fell flat, as there was little available. Overall, the hotel needs major updates and better cleaning protocols.

Location was super convenient, and I loved the solid hardwood floors! However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Feels like they are still in the process of upgrading. 😕

Not Worth It
Stayed here for 1 night and honestly, it was pretty rough. The whole place felt worn down—stains everywhere and a weird smell that just wouldn't quit. The clerk was really nice though, and the location near the university was a plus. Breakfast? Yeah, don’t get your hopes up. You’re better off grabbing a snack from a store nearby.

Had a great time with friends visiting the Cowboy Capital Walk of Fame and catching a flick at the nearby theater. The fitness center was a plus too. The location was convenient for our adventures, and coffee was always available.
One downside was the breakfast. it was just basic cereals and muffins, definitely could use more variety.

We enjoyed our stay here, especially the proximity to Tarlton State University for the graduation. The kids loved exploring the Cowboy Capital Walk of Fame, learning about the area's Western heritage. Our room was nice, with fresh bedding and plenty of space for our family, including our grandchild.
My kids wished there were better facilities for families, especially more activities or a clean pool for swimming.

missingWrote a review on 09 Mayappealing flooringconvenient accesspoor maintenanceinadequate amenitieslack of cleanliness
The room had appealing wood flooring and was functional for an overnight stay. The nearby dining options were plentiful, enhancing convenience. However, poor maintenance was evident, with an unclean toilet and a bathroom dripping constantly. Additionally, lack of coffee in the room or lobby significantly diminished the experience, and the absence of a pool added to the disappointment.
